One of the more common humiliation fetishes I encounter is boot and/or foot worship. Of course, this does not imply that all scenarios where a submissive is worshipping a Mistressess boot/shoes/feet have to be humiliating. Still, I think at its most basic level, the average person (whoever that is!) would very likely associate worshipping these body parts with a more lowly connotation. Prior to his betrayal and crucifixition, Christ himself performed a feet washing ceremony on the disciple "whom he loved" and in this act humbled himself in a way not typically characterstic of a Savoir or King. The foot is often a dirty part of the body and to cleasnse, touch or lick this body part, exemplifies not only a sense of servitude but also ilicits feelings of intense humility.

The feet are also our connection with the earth, and therefore represent our "grounding," and the means by which we connect with the world itself - literally.
I have often wondered if one of the compulsions of the foot fetishist is to achieve not only humility through servitude to the feet, as you say, but also to literally get "their heads" closer to the place where a human being meets the non-human world. And what humility THAT must require!
I love when I have a subbie boi who wants to worship My boots in Real Time...I point to the corner so he grabs the shoe polish and place My boots on My ebony feet and then start applying the polish on My boots...note I didn't say he got anything else from the corner, so I guess that means he needs something to apply it on doesn't he??? There is nothing sexier to me then a subbie kneeling in front of me and worshiping my feet be it a massage, or even kissing and licking my feet clean it always does it for me.. ok I am off to go day dream about that now..
As much as I love humiliation scenes, I do enjoy the more humbling aspect of body worship. To have a man before me, delicately washing and oiling my feet and legs, massaging and pampering would be very endearing to me.
Of course, I would probably be tempted to break the sweetness of the moment by pressing my toes against his lips and having him kiss every toe, whilst thanking me for the honour of treating him like the ground I walk upon...

Foot Worship is one of my favorite forms of humiliation, especially when it leads to kicking, trampling, smothering, and other forms of degredation :)
